Vacation ideas with kids

1.      San Diego

Are your kids fascinated by whales? Consider planning a whale watching family getaway to Southern California. San Diego’s famous gray whale-watching season stretches from December through April.

2.      Northstar Resort, Tahoe

This resort is incredibly family-friendly and they have received an epic amount of snow recently making it one amazing ski destination. Tahoe is located near three major airports, you can drive in, or take the train so there are plenty of ways to get there. Southwest flys in which is a great option that is also budget-friendly.

3.      Anchorage, Alaska

When it comes to tried-and-true spring break ideas for families, Alaska flies under the radar—and that’s great news for travelers who’ve always wanted to visit the Last Frontier. As the days grow longer and brighter, mid-March is the perfect time to explore Anchorage on a flightseeing tour or whale watching cruise

4.      Cuba

Since 2015, when the U.S. and Cuba resumed diplomatic ties for the first time in more than 50 years, travel to Cuba has been opening up for Americans. While the kind of allowable trips is still limited to specific categories of travel, you no longer have to apply for a visa. While Americans can now legally travel to Cuba, there are restrictions. You need to book a tour through a company that has won special approval from the U.S. State Department to run “people to people” cultural-exchange trips to Cuba. Several cruise lines now sail to Cuba, or you can fly. Alaska Airlines recently became the eighth U.S. carrier (along with American, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and United) to offer flights to Havana.

5.      Tanque Verde Beach

If you are looking to do something new that is both an amazing experience and also an incredible lesson in bravery and independence.

6.      Mesa, Arizona

Book a private villa in Mesa for a Sonoran Desert experience next door to shopping malls and spring training ballparks. The Valley of the Sun is home to family-friendly museums and natural attractions with “Old West” names like the Superstition Mountains and Saguaro Lake. Take it as a sign and cowboy up for a wild ride!
